There’s nothing like hearing your mama sing you a song. As I mentioned in my About Jessica page, my mama used to sing “My Favorite Things” from The Sound of Music. It wasn’t until years later that I saw the movie and fell in love. I don’t think there was a time in my childhood that my mama didn’t sing this song to me at bedtime. It was very calming and comforting.
“My Favorite Things” made me fall in love with The Sound of Music, and I think the movie made me fall in love with all musicals. So, if you love musicals as much as me and if you feel sentimental in the very least, watch/listen to this short song again.
